Supporting ZeroAvia’s Airfield Hydrogen Production System

In 2024, Elemental Energy provided equipment to ZeroAvia for their airfield hydrogen production system. As part of this project, we supplied our own integrated compressor system capable of refuelling ZeroAvia’s aircraft refueller to 450 bar, together with an integrated Enapter 100 kW electrolyser system.

Our bespoke 20 ft compressor system is designed to compress hydrogen from 30 bar up to 1,000 bar into a variety of storage mediums. The system can be adapted for direct vehicle refuelling and also provides the necessary infrastructure to refuel Elemental Energy’s hydrogen trailers in remote areas.

At ZeroAvia, the combined systems enable the team to progress their cutting-edge hydrogen-electric aircraft development, helping bring sustainable aviation travel closer to becoming a reality.
